While we are cozy at home or in our car, snow makes the view of naked vegetation even more striking than in summer. The structure of plants appears in all its strenth, naked. Here and there, remains of flowers hide the seeds that will feed birds or patiently wait for spring to come and renew vegetation.
These rough shapes are mimicked by strong moves of the brush on the paper, while a bit of water has rinsed the delicate shades of their frills.
This series of watercolors has been exhibitied in Belmont, MA and Concord, MA. Some are already framed and can be shipped safely in the USA.
